Adopting from Asian Countries

This course provides families with 2 hours of Hague Parent Education Training. The objective of this course is to provide an overview of the adoption process by outlining country specific laws and adoption processes, including foreseeable delays and impediments to finalization of an adoption. This course will also provide families with an explanation of any reporting requirements associated with Hague Convention adoptions. Upon review of this course, families will complete a brief Q & A in order to receive a course completion certificate.

Adopting the Older Child

The objective of this course is to provide families with information and resources to consider when adopting an older child. The intent is to provide the opportunity for families to explore this as an option and prepare for the challenges and differences. This course provides 1.5 hours of adoption training   Upon review of this course, families will complete a brief Q and A in order to receive a course completion certificate.
